From Retail to Marketing
No stranger to setbacks, I used the “retailpocalypse” of 2018 as an opportunity to shift gears from retailing to marketing consulting. I opened a party studio that hosted kids’ art classes during the week and themed celebrations on weekends. I hired my friend Amy to run the studio, I came up with the concepts, and Amy brought them to life through set building, styling, photography, you name it!
We also used the space for product shoots and as an “office” for me to manage my clients’ social media. All these pieces formed the foundation of my own marketing studio, Beachwood Creative (where Amy is still working her magic today!).
